Attestations vary depending on type/s of proof required. Entry to a music event may require proof of age and ownership of the ticket, where proof of a high score achieved can be attested by sharing your gamerID.

An attestation is evidence or proof of something. It contains digital signatures and cryptographic proofs that state a fact about an identity or entity. Together with Smart Layer, we are offering an attestation-based solution called Supernova Perks. In essence, we ‘attest’ event tickets as unique URLs. From there, attested ticket holders can gain access to Supernova Perks where they can claim discounts, merchandise, etc. It uses a web2 native authentication method (i.e email addresses) whilst onboarding users to web3. Users do not to onboard a wallet and do not use NFTs or blockchain-based tokens.
